TOTALENERGIES MARKETING GHANA PLC (TEMG PLC) DONATES VITAL RELIEF ITEMS TO AKOSOMBO DAM SPILLAGE VICTIMS

In an extraordinary instance of corporate social responsibility, TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC and the Citi FM Foundation have teamed up to support the victims of the Akosombo dam spillage disaster. The donation—worth thousands of Ghanaian cedis—was made on the 23rd of November 2023 at the premises of Citi FM and Citi TV.

The Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality Manager of TEMG PLC, Mrs. Hannah Afriyie, presented the items on behalf of the Managing Director and the Company and expressed the Company’s unwavering commitment to continue to support the local community in times of need.

This partnership demonstrates the powerful effect that corporate partnerships may have in meeting community needs in hard times. The donated items, included necessities like packs of detergents, packs of bottled water, and toiletries, to lessen the immediate difficulties experienced by those impacted.

Mr. Matthew Idun, the Administrator of Citi FM and Citi TV, accepted the donation and was very appreciative of the generous gesture.
