In Ghana, we are also involved in a Joint User Hydrant Installation (JUHI) for Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATK) at the main airport, Kotoka International Airport in Ghana with two other Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).

Our into-plane service assures our customers of product quality from the refinery to the aircraft.

The standard civil grade of aviation turbine fuel, Jet A-1, is manufactured to meet the requirements of the latest version of the Aviation Fuel Quality Requirements for Jointly Operated Systems (AFQRJOS) "Check List".

The Check List was drawn up by the major international oil supply companies to ensure uniform quality standards for civil jet fuels world-wide (excluding USA) and comprises the most restrictive requirements of the major fuel specifications. Compliance with Check List requirements thus guarantees meeting the requirements of the individual specifications.

TotalEnergies is present in all the aviation segments: airlines, industries, defence, and business and general aviation. Skilled professional teams provide innovative solutions perfectly adapted to the customers' needs in each of these sectors.

TotalEnergies is a founding member of the international Joint Inspection Group (JIG). The mission of the JIG is to promote safety, quality control and efficiency at aviation fuel facilities and develop greater global standardization of aviation fuel operating standards. JIG establishes Aviation Fuel Quality Control and Operating standards endorsed by IATA. International oil companies perform inspections of their airport facilities to ensure that they are operated in accordance with JIG procedures.
