TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC (TEMG PLC) is making a significant stride towards the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its partnership with the Touching the Lives of Girls Foundation. This impactful initiative held in Kumasi on May 24th, 2024, addressed a critical gap in girls' education by empowering over 4,000 girls with knowledge on menstrual hygiene, financial literacy, and mental health.

These workshops equipped the girls with essential tools to navigate their adolescence and future. Sessions on menstrual hygiene management provided the confidence to manage their periods effectively, while financial literacy workshops instilled valuable skills for informed decision-making. Additionally, the girls gained a deeper understanding of mental health, fostering emotional well-being and equipping them to cope with challenges.

Recognizing the economic barriers to menstrual hygiene products, TotalEnergies Ghana Action! generously donated over 1,000 sanitary kits. This combats period poverty, ensuring the girls can translate their newfound knowledge into practice and participate fully in school life.
