TOTALENERGIES MAKERTING GHANA PLC CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

International Women's Day, observed annually on March 8th, serves as a poignant reminder to commemorate, and appreciate the vital contributions of women in all levels of society. This day is especially important to TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana (TEMG) PLC because it recognizes and appreciates the outstanding achievements of the women in our organization. Our celebration intended to uplift and empower our female staff, in line with our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8 & 5), which stress women's empowerment and gender equality in the workplace.

The event commenced with an enlightening etiquette training session led by Abenaa Antwiwaa Adusei, a Certified Etiquette Consultant and Founder of Manners on Point School of Etiquette. This session provided our female employees with essential insights into workplace decorum and personal grooming, thus fostering an environment of professionalism and respect. Engaging discussions ensued, enhancing the attendees' understanding of basic work etiquette, thus equipping them with valuable tools for personal and professional growth.

The 'Sista Sista' session was the highlight of the celebration, as it provided a forum for open dialogue between our female employees and women in senior roles at TEMG PLC. In addition, the dialogue featured input from a man’s point of view as a senior manager shared how he supported his corporate wife in her career journey. This interactive event provided a unique chance for honest discussions on a variety of themes, including work-related issues, personal experiences, work-life balance and relationships. The 'Sista Sista' discussion, led by prominent women in management positions, allowed for significant exchanges while also encouraging mentorship and guidance among our female workforces.

The event culminated in a heartwarming photoshoot session, where our female employees had the privilege of capturing cherished moments alongside their esteemed female role models within the company. This memorable occasion served as a testament to the strength and solidarity within our TEMG PLC family, highlighting the importance of fostering supportive networks and celebrating the achievements of women.
