TotalEnergies Ghana at the CAF African Schools Football Championship
TotalEnergies Ghana proudly participated in the CAF African Schools Football Championship which was held from 21st to 26th April in Accra. The event brought together young football talents from various African countries and all matches were played at the University of Ghana, Legon Stadium. The aim of the Championship was to celebrate sportsmanship and youth development.
As part of the Championship activities, the Company was part of the sponsors for the CAF Grassroots Festival, a CSR effort dedicated to nurturing young football enthusiasts. Children from schools across the country were trained by coaches and football legends at the Juventus Academy. TotalEnergies Ghana was on hand to refresh the children and spectators through our Café Bonjour stands with snacks and drinks, creating a memorable experience for all.
On the final match day, our Human Resource Manager, Mr Richard Debrah and Brand Ambassador, Mr Stephen Appiah, were present to engage with participants and had the honour of presenting the Player of the Competition awards for both boys and girls.
This memorable event reinforced the strong bonds within the TotalEnergies family and highlighted our dedication to community involvement and sports across the African continent.
