TotalEnergies Celebrates World Safety Day 2025: No Safety Without Critical Barriers, Every Action Counts!
On April 24, 2025, TotalEnergies teams worldwide celebrated World Safety Day, focusing on the theme "No Safety Without Critical Barriers, Every Action Counts!" This year's event highlighted the importance of proactive safety measures and learning from past experiences.
In Ghana, all staff, dealers and contractors engaged in group discussions on protective and preventive barriers, using activities such as fuel offloading and working at height to identify hazards and propose improvements. These sessions fostered a collaborative environment where everyone could share their insights and experiences.
Awards were given to the highest HSE anomaly reporter and the highest STOP card reporter for all areas in the country, as well as the overall best driver. Additionally, gifts were presented to winners of quizzes on the theme held in the days leading up to the event.
The event underscored TotalEnergies' alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 8.8, promoting safe working environments. The insights and recommendations from the discussions will be implemented to enhance safety measures across all operations.
TotalEnergies' World Safety Day 2025 reinforced the message that safety is a continuous priority. Every action count in creating a safer workplace, and proactive measures are crucial to preventing future incidents.
