Honoring a Legacy: TotalEnergies Ghana Bids Farewell to Outgoing Managing Director, Mr. Olufemi Babajide
On the 16th of October 2025, TotalEnergies Ghana hosted a memorable Send-Off in honor of its outgoing Managing Director Mr. Olufemi Babajide, a distinguished leader whose tenure left a lasting impact on the Company. The event took place at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, bringing together colleagues, board members, and corporate guests to celebrate his legacy.
A heartfelt message from the Human Resources Manager highlighted Mr. Babajide’s achievements throughout the five years he served as Managing Director, followed by a series of farewell speeches from department heads, managers, staff, and the Board of Directors.

A formal toast led by board member, Mr. Mawuli Ababio, marked a pivotal moment of gratitude, followed by the presentation of farewell gifts from the Company. Mr. Babajide then delivered his farewell speech, expressing deep appreciation to colleagues and introducing his successor, Mr. Daniel Mayieka, who shared a warm welcome message and his vision for the future.
The event concluded with networking, refreshments, and photo sessions, as guests bid farewell to a leader whose influence will continue to shape the TEMG’s path forward.
