CELEBRATING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY … WITH ACTION!

The 2025 celebration of International Women's Day was held globally on March 8. In Ghana, TotalEnergies partnered with Charterhouse Productions to mark the occasion by hosting the 7th National Women’s Summit & Expo at the Grand Arena in Accra.

A highlight of the summit was the Youth Leadership and Career guidance session, led by TotalEnergies Ghana as part of the Action! Program.

The session was led by four of the company’s esteemed female managers: Mrs. Bertha Amissah, Mrs. Nana Ama Doduwa Arthur, Mrs. Geena Bimpong, and Mrs. Dora Gyapong. These inspiring leaders provided mentorship and guidance to 400 senior high school (SHS) students, sharing their experiences and insights to help the young women develop the tools and confidence needed to pursue their dreams and leadership aspirations.

In addition to the female managers, 70 staff members and 5 female dealers from TotalEnergies Ghana participated in the initiative, further demonstrating the company's commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Their collective efforts created a nurturing atmosphere where the students could engage, learn, and be inspired.

The Youth Leadership and Career Guidance session was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the students and reinforcing the importance of gender equality and leadership development. Through this initiative, TotalEnergies Ghana showcased its dedication to empowering young women and shaping the future of leadership in the country.
