TOTALENERGIES MARKETING GHANA PLC HOLDS ITS ANNUAL DEALERS’ CONVENTION
TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC held its annual Dealer Convention on the theme ‘‘Energizing the Future Through Sustainable Practices and Innovation”. The two-day programme which took place from 5th to 6th July at Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana brought together dealers in the TotalEnergies station network, along with Management and some staff of the Company. The Dealers’ Convention is an annual gathering of the station network teams with Management and the Marketing teams to exchange ideas and reward outstanding marketing staff, dealers, and customer attendants.
The Sales and Marketing Manager, Mr. Hussein Nsour, in addressing the participants during the opening session, appreciated the efforts of the station network teams and encouraged both dealers and attendants present to be more dedicated and go the extra mile to ensure that the TotalEnergies brand remained the best among the consuming public. Addressing the dealers, Mr. Olufemi Babajide, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Ghana congratulated them on their performance in the preceding year and encouraged them to look forward to a very active year. He also assured them that all their challenges highlighted during the feedback session would be addressed.
Activities undertaken during the two-day event included team bonding challenges, brainstorming sessions, presentations by dealers and marketing staff of the
Company on strategies for 2024/2025. Over 260 dealers, fuel attendants, staff members and Management were present at the event.
An awards ceremony marked the culmination of the event, where top-performing dealers, fuel attendants, and marketing personnel were recognized for their exceptional services at the end of 2022 and 2023 with a variety of awards. The best Dealer of the year 2023, Benjamin Laryea (Tema Motorway 1), was awarded a plaque together with a laptop and a weekend getaway. The best Territory Manager of the year 2023, Kwaku Asamoah (Kumasi) was awarded a plaque, and the best Customer Attendant of the year 2023, Prince Kwesi Osei (Tuba) was awarded a cash prize, a trophy, and a certificate.
The night culminated in a celebratory toast, where Managing Director, Olufemi Babajide, lauded not just the individual winners, but the entire team for their collective effort.
